Happy Sunday y’all! Today, our family headed out to enjoy some cooler temps and some cloud coverage! We were needing some fresh air and together time. _____________ Yesterday, my 3 yo had some big emotions feeling I was too busy with her little brother and not enough time with her. ... Doesn’t that hurt a mama heart. She knows he’s is a baby and he needs different things from me. She knew all the 1:1 time I spent with her playing outside, reading books, and bath-time that day... so I knew she didn’t need me to re-tell that, she needed me. So, today, I was trying to listen and find ways to be intentional with her. And I’m so glad I did! 💛 _____________ While we were out, I was trying to work in some #runclub interval training for our virtual race in a few weeks. I was about to start another interval and she asked if she could workout with me. We made a goal to run to the trash can, a landmark we’ve used before! We were almost halfway to our landmark and she started saying “I’m not stronger enough and I can’t run anymore.” I said, “You’re stronger than you think you are. You can do hard things. And, you’re big enough to do anything with some help.” She giggled, grabbed my hand, and said “maybe you can help me!” And we both made it all the way to our goal! _____________ Y’all, this hit me hard. I’m so thankful I was being more intentional today and said yes when she asked to workout with me. Did it ruin my splits? Yes. Did we go the full interval time? No. But, she felt her value and she trusted that I believed in her. _____________ I’m thankful she asked to join me and I’m so thankful she wanted to workout with me. I’m thankful she trusted me when I said she could do hard things. It’s not every day, or every run in this instance, that I see every moment put in front of me to build my girl up. _____________ So, as we start a new week full of new challenges and new opportunities, remember... You are stronger than you think you are. Strides 360™ promises a heart-pumping workout designed to increase your endurance while also developing speed, agility, and quickness to help you sprint through mom life. Bodyweight conditioning is strategically placed to provide recovery, strength and round out your workout. It's for any mom interested in a workout that can be as hard as you need it to be on your good days or scaled back on days you’re not sure how you made it out the door! Bring your kiddos with you in the stroller or leave the kiddo at home and come play with your mom friends. Either way, the hour will fly by and leave you energized for the rest of your day!
Stroller Barre® is a 60-minute cardio and strength interval class designed to improve posture, stability, and mobility. This workout combines moves inspired by barre, ballet, Pilates, fitness, and yoga to help you regain posture and alignment while strengthening your body from the inside out. Stroller Barre® will help you reconnect with your body, increase flexibility and develop the core strength needed for motherhood.
Body Well is about the journey, meeting you where you are & challenging you to grow. This 8-week program includes small group fitness coaching, nutritional guidance, recipes + meal planners, community-based workouts, and weekly challenges to help you manage stress and sleep better. Body Well will focus on improving your physical and mental well-being with a community of mamas to support you every step of the way.
FIT4BABY® is designed specifically for moms-to-be. All exercises are carefully selected to prepare your body for the many changes you will experience during pregnancy. You can begin FIT4BABY at any point during pregnancy as the workouts are scientifically- based, purposeful and designed to accommodate your changing body. The 60-minute workout includes cardio, strength, balance, and flexibility training and ends with a relaxing meditation; everything you need during this precious time!
Whether you're preparing for an upcoming race or simply enjoy running with other like-minded mamas, Run Club is for you. A program for all levels, Run Club allows you to run, improve your health and fitness, and connect with other moms through two styles of class: Run Clinics which are designed to correct running form and increase speed and agility, and Run Days designed to increase endurance. No running experience required!
